About the Role
An exceptional school in Buckinghamshire is seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join their supportive team immediately. This pivotal role involves maintaining a productive learning environment and ensuring continuity of education across various subjects in the absence of the regular class teacher. We are looking for an individual available for daily supply, short-term assignments, long-term contracts, or even a permanent position, offering excellent flexibility. This position provides a competitive daily rate of £145 - £160, reflecting the importance of this vital role within our secondary setting.

Key Responsibilities
* Effectively manage classroom behaviour to foster a positive and respectful learning atmosphere.
* Deliver pre-prepared lessons and instructional materials to students across secondary key stages.
* Ensure students remain on task and engaged with their learning objectives during lessons.
* Actively promote the school's values and high expectations for student conduct and achievement.
* Address immediate student needs and concerns, escalating serious issues to the appropriate staff members.
* Maintain a safe and inclusive environment where all pupils feel valued and supported.

* You possess previous experience working with young people, ideally within an educational setting.
* You demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport quickly.
* You are proactive and adaptable, comfortable managing a diverse range of subjects and student groups.
* You have a firm but fair approach to behaviour management, inspiring respect and cooperation.
* You are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
* You are an organised individual with a reliable and professional work ethic.
