About the Role
This is an exceptional opportunity to join a dedicated school in North London, focusing on the specialist primary sector. We are seeking a passionate SEMH Teacher to deliver engaging and tailored lessons within a primary specialist SEMH setting or PRU. You will be instrumental in building therapeutic relationships with pupils, fostering a supportive environment where every child can thrive academically and emotionally. This role requires an educator committed to managing challenging behaviours constructively while celebrating individual achievements.

Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver dynamic, differentiated lessons across the primary curriculum.
* Cultivate strong, therapeutic relationships to support pupils' social and emotional development.
* Implement effective, proactive strategies for managing challenging behaviour consistently.
* Develop and monitor individualised education plans (IEPs) for each pupil.
* Collaborate closely with teaching assistants, support staff, and multi-disciplinary teams.
* Regularly assess and report on pupil progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary.

About You
* You must possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) relevant for the primary phase.
* Demonstrable experience teaching primary-aged pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs is crucial.
* An ability to create a secure, structured, and inspiring classroom atmosphere is essential.
* You will exhibit strong, positive behaviour management techniques.
* A resilient, empathetic, and patient approach to supporting vulnerable children is highly valued.
* We welcome applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as experienced teachers at MPS/UPS levels.
