Key Responsibilities
* Provide individualised and small group support to primary pupils with Special Educational Needs.
* Assist the class teacher in preparing and delivering engaging learning activities.
* Implement specific strategies from pupil's Individual Education Plans (IEPs) or support plans.
* Encourage the social and emotional development of pupils, promoting their independence.
* Maintain open communication with teachers, parents, and other professionals regarding pupil progress.
* Contribute to creating an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment for all learners.
About You
* Demonstrable experience working with children with Special Educational Needs, preferably within a primary setting.
* A genuine passion for making a positive difference in children's educational journeys.
* Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport with pupils and colleagues.
* Resilience, patience, and a nurturing approach are essential qualities for this role.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Relevant teaching assistant qualifications or a strong understanding of primary education support are highly desirable.
