About the Role
We are seeking an inspiring and dedicated Science Teacher to enrich our inclusive school community with a permanent position starting in September 2026. This long-term opportunity allows you to ignite curiosity and foster a deep understanding of scientific principles across the secondary phase. You will contribute to a nurturing educational environment where every student is encouraged to explore their potential and develop a lifelong passion for discovery through engaging and innovative teaching practices.

Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver high-quality, stimulating Science lessons across the secondary curriculum.
* Accurately assess student understanding and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
* Cultivate a stimulating and supportive classroom atmosphere conducive to effective learning.
* Actively contribute to the ongoing development of the Science department's curriculum and resources.
* Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and promote the welfare of all students.
* Implement diverse teaching methodologies to cater to a range of learning styles and needs.

About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK or an equivalent recognised qualification.
* Possess a genuine passion for Science and its effective communication to young people.
* Demonstrate the ability to motivate and challenge students of all abilities, fostering a growth mindset.
* Committed to continuous professional development and reflective practice within your teaching.
* Exhibit excellent classroom management skills, ensuring a productive and respectful learning environment.
* Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents, building positive relationships.
