A flourishing school is seeking a dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant primary team immediately. This pivotal role involves supporting the learning and development of young children within a stimulating and nurturing environment. We are offering flexible opportunities, including daily supply, short-term cover, and longer-term contracts, with competitive daily rates ranging from £95 to £110. Your commitment will directly contribute to children's foundational growth and inspire their early educational journey.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide essential support to the class teacher in delivering engaging EYFS curriculum activities.
* Facilitate learning both individually and in small groups, adapting to diverse needs.
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children.
* Assist in preparing classroom resources and maintaining an organised learning space.
* Contribute to the observation and assessment of children's progress and development.
* Offer targeted support to children with Special Educational Needs, ensuring their full participation.
About You
* Possess demonstrable experience working within the Early Years Foundation Stage.
* Show genuine enthusiasm for early childhood education and development.
* Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, engaging effectively with children and staff.
* Demonstrate a patient, caring, and professional demeanour at all times.
* Thrive within a collaborative team environment, contributing positively to school life.
