About the Role
A well-established school in the Bedfordshire area is actively seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join their supportive team. This engaging role offers a fantastic opportunity to support student learning across the secondary phase, managing classroom dynamics effectively during teacher absences. You will be instrumental in maintaining educational continuity and fostering a positive atmosphere for pupils, with flexible contract options available, ranging from daily supply to long-term or even permanent positions, commencing as soon as possible and offering a competitive daily rate.

Key Responsibilities
* Supervise pupils during lessons, maintaining a purposeful learning atmosphere.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively, upholding school expectations.
* Deliver pre-prepared work to students, ensuring tasks are understood.
* Respond to student queries and provide support as appropriate.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils in your care.
* Adhere strictly to all school policies and procedures.

About You
* Possess experience working with young people, ideally within a secondary school setting.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Exhibit strong behaviour management techniques and a confident classroom presence.
* Be highly adaptable and able to respond effectively to varied situations.
* Hold a genuine passion for supporting student learning and development.
* Maintain a professional and proactive approach at all times.
