We are seeking a passionate educator to deliver inspiring lessons for a long-term or permanent contract, with a start date in September or sooner. You will be instrumental in nurturing a love for science, specifically Biology, and ideally possess a specialism in Chemistry, engaging pupils across all key stages within a vibrant learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver dynamic and challenging Biology lessons to secondary pupils.
* Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
* Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress and attainment comprehensively.
* Contribute actively to the continuous development and success of the Science department.
* Implement school policies effectively regarding pupil behaviour and well-being.
* Collaborate positively with colleagues to share best practices and resources.
About You
* You hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant academic qualifications.
* You possess a strong passion for Biology and the wider Science curriculum.
* You demonstrate excellent subject knowledge, including a specialism in Chemistry.
* You are adept at creating an inspiring and supportive learning atmosphere for all pupils.
* You show a commitment to fostering academic growth and personal development in every child.
* You exhibit exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
