This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join a well-established secondary school located in Kettering, Northamptonshire. You will be responsible for overseeing classes across various subjects during planned or unexpected teacher absences, ensuring pupils remain engaged and focused on their learning tasks. This flexible role offers a daily rate of £145 - £160 and is available on a long-term, short-term, daily supply, or permanent basis, with an immediate start available.
Key Responsibilities
* Effectively deliver pre-prepared lesson plans to pupils.
* Maintain a positive and productive learning environment for all students.
* Manage pupil behaviour consistently in line with school policies.
* Ensure all pupils are on task and engaged with their assigned work.
* Provide appropriate support and guidance to pupils as needed.
* Report any significant issues or concerns to the relevant staff member.
About You
* You possess strong classroom management skills.
* You are adaptable and able to work effectively across different subjects and year groups.
* You have a genuine passion for supporting pupil development and progress.
* You demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* You are reliable, proactive, and resilient under varying classroom pressures.
* Previous experience in a similar educational setting is highly desirable for this position.
