About the Role
A forward-thinking school is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join its specialist provision supporting secondary-aged pupils. This vital role involves assisting students with complex needs in their learning journey, helping to deliver an adapted curriculum, and fostering their independence within a supportive and inclusive environment. You will play a crucial part in the daily lives of young people, contributing to their academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to secondary-aged pupils with diverse and complex special educational needs.
* Assist in the implementation of personalised learning plans and an adapted curriculum.
* Encourage and enable pupils to develop greater independence in their learning and daily routines.
* Collaborate effectively with teaching staff and other professionals to create a positive learning environment.
* Support classroom management and pupil engagement during lessons and activities.
* Facilitate the social and emotional development of pupils, fostering confidence and self-esteem.

About You
* You possess a genuine passion for supporting young people with special educational needs.
* Experience working with secondary-aged pupils, particularly those with complex needs, is essential.
* You demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport with students and colleagues.
* A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to challenges is a key attribute.
* You are proactive and adaptable, able to respond effectively to varied pupil requirements.
