Key Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring all pupils achieve their full potential.
* Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
* Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
* Contribute actively to the development and implementation of the Science department's curriculum and resources.
* Participate in school-wide initiatives and uphold the highest standards of pupil safeguarding and welfare.
* Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the overall educational experience for pupils.
About You
* You possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience teaching Science in a secondary setting.
* You demonstrate a genuine passion for Science, inspiring curiosity and enthusiasm in your pupils.
* You exhibit excellent classroom management strategies, ensuring a productive and respectful learning atmosphere.
* You are committed to continuous professional development and reflective teaching practice.
* You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
* Applications are warmly welcomed from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as experienced professionals at MPS and UPS levels.
