A well-established school in East London is seeking a dedicated Intervention Teacher to provide targeted support across its primary phases, from EYFS through to Key Stage 2. This vital role involves working with individuals and small groups of pupils to enhance their learning outcomes, particularly in core subjects like literacy and numeracy. We are looking for someone available for an immediate start, with flexible contract options ranging from daily supply and short-term assignments to long-term and permanent opportunities, offering competitive daily rates between £150 and £180.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and effective intervention programmes to pupils requiring additional support.
* Plan and prepare differentiated learning activities tailored to specific needs within EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
* Regularly assess pupil progress, meticulously tracking their development and adapting teaching strategies.
* Collaborate closely with class teachers to ensure intervention strategies align with broader curriculum goals.
* Maintain comprehensive records of pupil attendance, engagement, and achievements during intervention sessions.
* Foster a nurturing and encouraging environment where all pupils feel confident to participate and learn.
About You
* You must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) relevant to the UK primary curriculum.
* Demonstrable experience in planning and delivering successful intervention programmes is crucial.
