This vital role involves providing tailored assistance to young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs, fostering a positive learning environment. You will play a crucial part in behaviour support, emotional regulation, and facilitating pupils' reintegration into academic learning, with opportunities for long-term, short-term, daily supply, or permanent engagement, starting as soon as possible, earning between £95 and £120 per day.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver specialised support to secondary pupils with diverse Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.
* Implement effective behaviour management strategies to promote a calm and focused classroom.
* Guide pupils in developing robust emotional regulation skills and self-awareness.
* Facilitate their successful reintegration into mainstream learning activities and routines.
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff to develop and adapt learning materials.
* Contribute to the creation of a nurturing and inclusive educational setting.
About You
* Possess demonstrable experience supporting young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs, ideally within a secondary setting.
