Join our dedicated team as a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA), supporting a Year 4 student on a one-to-one basis. This role is based in Shrewsbury and offers a long-term opportunity with the potential for a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide dedicated one-to-one support to a Year 4 student with special educational needs.
• Assist in the development and implementation of personalised learning plans.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to enhance the student’s educational experience.
• Monitor and report on the student’s progress to relevant stakeholders.
About You:
• Experience in a similar SEN TA role or within a care environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach to support learning.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.
• Commitment to promoting the educational and personal development of the student.
