Key Responsibilities
* Implement individualised structured routines and visual aids to support pupils' learning and development.
* Provide targeted sensory strategies to help regulate pupils' environments and engagement.
* Facilitate effective communication support, using a range of methods appropriate to each child's needs.
* Assist with the delivery of tailored educational activities in a primary specialist provision.
* Support pupils in developing their social skills and fostering positive interactions.
* Monitor pupil progress, providing valuable feedback to class teachers and SENCOs.
About You
* Possess demonstrable experience working with primary-aged children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
* Have a strong understanding of various communication techniques and sensory needs.
* Exhibit exceptional patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach to pupil support.
* Be adept at implementing individualised learning plans and behaviour management strategies.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, collaborating effectively with colleagues.
* Show flexibility and adaptability, thriving in a dynamic educational environment.
