About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Chemistry Teacher to join a supportive school community. We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled educator to deliver engaging Science lessons, with a specialism in Chemistry, across the secondary phase on a permanent, long-term contract starting in September 2026. You will play a crucial role in fostering a love for scientific inquiry and achievement among our pupils within a vibrant learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver dynamic and inspiring Chemistry lessons, as well as broader Science curricula, to secondary pupils.
* Assess pupil progress rigorously, providing constructive feedback to support their ongoing development.
* Maintain a stimulating and safe classroom environment conducive to effective learning and discovery.
* Contribute actively to the wider school community, participating in departmental meetings and school events.
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the educational experience for all pupils.
* Uphold the school's values and ethos, promoting a culture of respect, curiosity, and academic achievement.

About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a degree in Chemistry or a closely related scientific field.
* Demonstrate a passion for Chemistry and the ability to inspire secondary school pupils of all abilities.
* Possess excellent classroom management skills and a steadfast commitment to high educational standards.
* Be adept at differentiating lessons to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of every individual.
* Show a proactive approach to continuous professional development and a willingness to contribute to our collaborative team.
* Be suitable for candidates at all career stages, from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to more experienced educators.
