• Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging learning activities adapted to individual needs.
• Support pupils in managing their behaviour and developing positive social interactions.
• Monitor and record pupil progress, contributing to regular assessments and reviews.
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure holistic pupil development.
• Adapt and create resources to facilitate access to the curriculum for all learners.
About You
• Proven experience supporting primary-aged children with SEN in a mainstream school setting.
• Possess a patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting diverse learning needs.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong relationships with pupils and staff.
• Committed to promoting an inclusive ethos and fostering a positive learning environment.
• Proactive and adaptable, capable of responding effectively to varying classroom demands.
• Hold relevant qualifications or training in Special Educational Needs support.
