About the Role

Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver an engaging DT curriculum across key stages, stimulating student curiosity and practical application.
* Assess student progress effectively, providing constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement.
* Contribute to the development of exciting extra-curricular DT initiatives, broadening student experience.
* Maintain a safe, organised, and inspiring workshop environment conducive to high-quality learning.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance departmental strategies and share best practice.
* Undertake pastoral responsibilities, supporting student wellbeing and personal development.

About You
* You hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a genuine passion for Design and Technology.
* You demonstrate a proven ability to inspire and challenge secondary school students effectively.
* You possess strong subject knowledge across various DT specialisms, suitable for ECT, MPS, or UPS level.
* You are adept at creating a supportive and ambitious learning atmosphere for all pupils.
* You show commitment to continuous professional development and innovative teaching methods.
* You are a collaborative team player, eager to contribute positively to a thriving department and wider school community.
