This highly regarded school is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist SEN provision. You will play a crucial role in supporting secondary-aged pupils who have complex needs. This rewarding position involves assisting with the delivery of an adapted curriculum and actively promoting pupil independence. We are open to discussing various contract types, including long-term, daily supply, short-term, or permanent opportunities, commencing as soon as possible. A competitive daily rate of £90 - £115 is available, reflecting your valuable contribution.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support to secondary pupils with complex Special Educational Needs.
* Assist lead teachers in planning and delivering engaging, adapted curriculum activities.
* Cultivate a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every pupil feels valued.
* Actively encourage the development of pupils' social, emotional, and independence skills.
* Contribute to monitoring and recording pupil progress, sharing observations with the wider team.
* Collaborate effectively with teaching staff, external professionals, and parents to support holistic pupil development.
