About the Role
Join an innovative school dedicated to providing exceptional specialist support to secondary students on the autism spectrum. This rewarding role as an ASD Support Assistant involves empowering young people within a nurturing SEN environment. You will contribute significantly to their educational journey and personal development, working within a specialist setting. We are seeking committed professionals for various contract types, including long-term, short-term, daily supply, and permanent positions, with an immediate start available. A competitive daily rate of £90 - £115 is offered for this crucial role.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to secondary students with autism spectrum condition (ASC) within a specialist setting.
* Facilitate effective social communication skills and promote positive peer interactions.
* Implement strategies to manage sensory needs and create a supportive learning environment.
* Assist students in accessing the curriculum across a range of subjects, adapting materials as necessary.
* Collaborate closely with class teachers and SENCOs to track student progress and contribute to individualised learning plans.
* Foster independence and develop life skills, preparing students for future success.
