About the Role
We are seeking an inspiring and enthusiastic Chemistry Teacher to join a well-established secondary school located in the South East, commencing in September 2026 for a permanent, long-term position. This mainstream school is eager to welcome a dedicated specialist in Chemistry to cultivate a love for the subject among students across all key stages within its dynamic Science department. You will play a crucial role in delivering a stimulating and accessible curriculum, contributing to the academic success and personal growth of every pupil.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons, fostering a deep understanding and passion for the subject.
* Assess student progress thoroughly, providing regular and constructive feedback to aid their development.
* Contribute actively to the ongoing enhancement of an innovative Science curriculum.
* Maintain a positive, stimulating, and safe learning environment where all students feel valued.
* Participate fully in departmental meetings, training sessions, and the wider life of the school community.
* Monitor pupil attainment and wellbeing, communicating effectively with parents and carers as necessary.

About You
* You hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a strong academic background in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
* You are an Early Career Teacher (ECT) seeking a supportive start, or an experienced practitioner looking for the next step (MPS/UPS).
* You demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and a proven ability to motivate diverse learners.
* You exhibit a genuine passion for Chemistry and a commitment to making science accessible and exciting for young people.
* You are highly organised, resilient, and dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for your students.
* You are keen to engage in continuous professional development and embrace new teaching methodologies.
