Key Responsibilities
* Provide consistent 1:1 support tailored to a secondary pupil's complex needs.
* Implement and monitor specific targets outlined in individual education plans.
* Facilitate the pupil's engagement with the secondary curriculum across various subjects.
* Actively promote and develop the pupil's independence and self-help skills.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, building strong rapport with the pupil.
* Collaborate effectively with class teachers and other school professionals regarding pupil progress.
About You
* Proven experience supporting children or young people with complex Special Educational Needs.
* A compassionate and patient approach, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
* Excellent communication skills, enabling effective interaction with pupils, staff, and parents.
* Ability to work proactively and independently, whilst also being a strong team player.
* A genuine commitment to fostering pupil progress, well-being, and independence.
* An understanding of secondary education settings and curriculum access strategies.
