About the Role
Join a exceptional school in Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire, seeking a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to provide vital support to primary pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs. This crucial role involves expert de-escalation techniques, thoughtful mentoring, and the development of strong, positive relationships within a specialist SEN setting. We are open to various contract types, including long term, daily supply, short term, or permanent opportunities, commencing ASAP, with a competitive daily rate of £95 to £120.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to primary pupils exhibiting SEMH needs.
* Implement effective de-escalation strategies during challenging moments.
* Mentor pupils individually to foster positive social and emotional development.
* Cultivate strong, trusting relationships with children and staff members.
* Assist in the delivery of engaging academic and therapeutic activities.
* Monitor pupil progress and contribute to individual support plans.

About You
* Possess demonstrated experience supporting primary-aged pupils with SEMH needs.
* Exhibit exceptional patience, empathy, and resilience in a specialist environment.
* Demonstrate strong communication skills to engage effectively with pupils and colleagues.
