Key Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Biology lessons across the secondary age range.
* Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
* Contribute to the ongoing development of the Science curriculum, especially within Biology.
* Foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.
* Engage actively in departmental meetings and wider school community initiatives.
* Provide pastoral support and guidance to students, nurturing their overall well-being.
About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a relevant degree in Biology or a related scientific field.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for inspiring young minds and fostering scientific curiosity.
* Exhibit excellent classroom management skills, creating a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
* Possess a strong commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
