This exciting opportunity invites a dedicated individual to join a thriving school, providing essential support to our Early Years Foundation Stage pupils. You will play a crucial role in nurturing young minds, fostering their development during these foundational years, and contributing positively to their initial educational journey. The school is seeking proactive individuals for a variety of contract types, including long-term, daily supply, short-term, or permanent positions, offering a competitive daily rate of £95 - £110 for your valuable contributions. We are looking for someone eager to start as soon as possible, embracing a dynamic and rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide attentive support to children across all areas of the EYFS curriculum, both indoors and outdoors.
* Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities that stimulate learning.
* Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to explore.
* Facilitate small group work and one-to-one interventions, tailoring support to individual needs and learning styles.
* Contribute to observations and assessments, accurately documenting pupil progress and developmental milestones.
* Prepare and organise learning resources and materials, ensuring they are accessible and enhance the educational experience.
About You
* You possess demonstrable experience working with young children, ideally within an Early Years or Primary school setting.
* A genuine passion for early childhood education and a deep understanding of the EYFS framework are essential.
* You are adept at inspiring curiosity and fostering a love for learning in children aged 3-5.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills allow you to build rapport with pupils, colleagues, and parents effectively.
* You are proactive, adaptable, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
* A steadfast commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children underpins your professional practice.
