About the Role
A flourishing school in Hertfordshire is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist provision. This vital role involves providing comprehensive support to secondary-aged pupils who have complex needs. You will be instrumental in fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment, contributing directly to pupil progress and well-being. We are offering flexible contract opportunities, including long-term, short-term, daily supply, and permanent positions, with an attractive daily rate of £90 to £115. This immediate start position offers a rewarding chance to make a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support to secondary pupils with diverse complex needs.
* Assist in the successful implementation of an adapted curriculum, ensuring accessibility for all learners.
* Actively promote pupils' independence and develop essential life skills within the school setting.
* Contribute to the creation of a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment for every pupil.
* Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to monitor and report on pupil progress.
* Support pupils with their social, emotional, and communication development throughout the school day.

About You
* You possess demonstrable experience working with secondary-aged pupils who have special educational needs, particularly complex needs.
* A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners and fostering their development is essential.
* You exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with pupils, staff, and parents.
* Your approach is patient, empathetic, and resilient, allowing you to navigate various situations with composure.
* You are a proactive and adaptable individual, capable of responding effectively to changing pupil needs and classroom dynamics.
* A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is paramount in your practice.
