About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional 1:1 SEN Support Assistant to provide dedicated, personalised assistance to a pupil navigating complex needs, including ASD, PMLD, or sensory impairment. Key Responsibilities
* Provide dedicated 1:1 support, tailoring approaches to meet a pupil's specific complex needs.
* Effectively implement and monitor targets outlined within the pupil's Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
* Foster a strong, trusting rapport with the pupil, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment.
* Collaborate proactively with external therapists and specialists to integrate their strategies into daily support.
* Support the pupil's communication and social development through personalised interventions.
* Observe and record the pupil's progress and challenges, contributing to regular reviews.

About You
* You possess demonstrable experience supporting children with complex Special Educational Needs, such as ASD, PMLD, or sensory impairment.
* A genuine passion for inclusive education and a deep commitment to a child's holistic development drives your practice.
* Exceptional communication skills enable you to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and external professionals.
* You approach challenges with creativity, patience, and a steadfast dedication to finding effective solutions.
* The ability to work independently while also thriving as part of a wider team is essential.
* Your proactive nature ensures you are always seeking new ways to support and engage pupils effectively.
