About the Role
An exceptional school is seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN Support Assistant to provide vital long-term assistance. This fulfilling role involves working closely with a specific pupil, offering personalised support tailored to their complex needs, which may include Autism Spectrum Disorder, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, or sensory impairments. We are looking for an individual ready to make an immediate impact, with opportunities for daily supply, long-term, or even permanent engagement, offering a competitive daily rate of £85 - £110.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide dedicated 1:1 support, fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for the pupil.
* Build strong, positive rapport with the pupil, understanding their individual communication and engagement styles.
* Diligently implement tailored educational and therapeutic targets as outlined in the pupil's Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
* Facilitate access to the curriculum and ensure active participation in all school activities.
* Liaise effectively with external therapists and professionals, integrating their guidance into daily support strategies.
