About the Role
A progressive school is seeking a passionate Biology Teacher to join our thriving science department on a permanent, long-term basis. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire young minds and cultivate a deep understanding and appreciation for the biological sciences across the secondary phase. We are looking for an educator who can bring the subject to life, making learning an engaging and enriching experience for all pupils, ideally with a strong background in Chemistry too.

Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver high-quality, inspiring Biology lessons tailored to diverse learning needs.
* Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
* Foster a dynamic and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel confident to explore scientific concepts.
* Contribute actively to the collaborative planning and resource development within the science department.
* Engage in extracurricular activities, enriching the broader school experience for pupils.
* Uphold the school's values, promoting a culture of respect and intellectual curiosity.

About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
* Hold a strong academic background in Biology, with a proven ability to teach up to Key Stage 5.
* Demonstrable passion for your subject, inspiring students to achieve their full potential.
* Exhibit excellent classroom management skills, ensuring a productive and safe learning space.
* Committed to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
* Eager to integrate into a supportive school community and contribute to its vibrant ethos.
