About the Role
Are you an empathetic and dedicated individual passionate about supporting young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? A highly regarded school is seeking a committed SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their specialist provision, working with secondary pupils. This crucial role involves providing essential behaviour support, fostering emotional regulation, and facilitating their successful reintegration into learning. We are looking for individuals available for immediate starts, with opportunities ranging from daily supply and short-term assignments to long-term and permanent contracts, offering significant flexibility.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored behaviour support to secondary pupils with SEMH needs.
* Implement strategies to help pupils develop emotional regulation skills.
* Support pupils in re-engaging with the curriculum and classroom activities.
* Work closely with teaching staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
* Assist in the development and delivery of personalised learning plans.
* Monitor pupil progress and provide regular feedback to the teaching team.

About You
* Possess a genuine passion for supporting pupils with SEMH challenges.
* Hold relevant experience working with secondary-aged students, ideally within a specialist SEN setting.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Show resilience, patience, and a proactive approach to managing challenging behaviours.
* Be adept at building positive relationships with young people and colleagues.
* Be available for an immediate start and open to various contract types (daily supply, short-term, long-term, permanent).
