About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated ASD Support Assistant to join our team, working with secondary students on the autism spectrum within a specialist setting. Key Responsibilities
* Facilitate effective social communication among students.
* Manage and respond to individual sensory needs thoughtfully.
* Support students in accessing and engaging with the secondary curriculum.
* Implement tailored strategies to promote student independence.
* Collaborate closely with teaching staff to differentiate learning experiences.
* Contribute to a positive and nurturing classroom atmosphere for all pupils.

About You
* You possess demonstrable experience supporting young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
* You are comfortable working with secondary-aged students in an educational environment.
* An empathetic and patient approach is central to your practice.
* You are proactive in identifying and addressing student needs effectively.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential for this role.
* You are committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
