About the Role
We are seeking an inspiring Science Teacher to join a dedicated school within the secondary phase on a permanent, long-term contract starting in September 2026. This is an exceptional opportunity to shape young minds and cultivate a deep understanding and passion for scientific inquiry across the curriculum. You will be instrumental in delivering engaging lessons and fostering a vibrant learning environment for all pupils.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver dynamic and engaging Science lessons across all key stages within the secondary curriculum.
* Plan, prepare, and deliver schemes of work that challenge and inspire every pupil.
* Accurately assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils.
* Create and maintain a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment conducive to pupil success.
* Contribute actively to the wider life and ethos of the school community.
* Support pupils in developing their critical thinking skills and scientific curiosity.

About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and demonstrable experience teaching Science in a secondary setting, or be an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) ready to embark on your career journey.
* Exhibit exceptional subject knowledge across the Science curriculum, with the ability to teach any specialism effectively.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for inspiring young people and fostering a love of learning.
* Have an excellent track record of planning and delivering outstanding lessons that cater to a diverse range of learning needs.
* Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
* Show a clear commitment to continuous professional development and contributing positively to a collaborative team.
