You will be instrumental in providing targeted support to primary pupils on the autism spectrum, fostering their learning and overall well-being. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals for a range of contract options, including long-term, daily supply, short-term, or permanent roles, offering a competitive daily rate of £90 - £115, with an immediate start possible.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored specialist support to primary pupils with autism spectrum disorder.
* Implement structured routines and consistent approaches to support pupil engagement.
* Utilise a variety of sensory strategies to create an optimal learning environment.
* Facilitate effective communication support, adapting methods to individual pupil needs.
* Assist pupils in developing independence and social skills within the provision.
* Collaborate closely with teachers and other support staff to enhance pupil progress.
About You
* You possess demonstrable experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ideally within a primary setting.
* You are passionate about making a significant positive impact on pupils' learning journeys.
* You have strong communication and interpersonal skills, building effective relationships with pupils and colleagues.
* You are patient, empathetic, and possess a deep understanding of the diverse needs of pupils with ASD.
* You are proactive, adaptable, and able to respond effectively to varying classroom dynamics.
* You hold relevant qualifications or have undertaken professional development in SEN support.
