About the Role
A well-established school is seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join its supportive team immediately. This vital role involves overseeing classroom activities in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring a productive and engaging learning environment for pupils across various subjects. We are looking for individuals available for long-term, short-term, daily supply, or even permanent positions, offering a competitive daily rate of £145 - £160. Your commitment will ensure the smooth continuation of lessons and the consistent academic progress of our students within our vibrant community.

Key Responsibilities
* Supervise pupils undertaking pre-set work, maintaining a positive and focused atmosphere.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment for all.
* Provide support to pupils, addressing questions and encouraging their engagement with the assigned tasks.
* Report any significant issues or concerns regarding pupil behaviour or wellbeing to appropriate staff members.
* Ensure the completion of administrative tasks, such as registering attendance, at the start of each lesson.
* Familiarise yourself with school policies and procedures, particularly those relating to health and safety and safeguarding.

* You demonstrate excellent classroom management abilities, fostering a positive and structured learning space.
* You are adaptable and resilient, capable of thriving in a dynamic and busy school environment.
* You are committed to supporting the holistic development and academic success of all pupils.
* You have a proactive and responsible approach to your duties, showing initiative where required.
* Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting is highly desirable.
