Key Responsibilities
• Provide dedicated one-to-one and small group support to pupils, reinforcing learning objectives and boosting confidence.
• Assist the class teacher in preparing engaging lesson materials and maintaining an organised classroom environment.
• Contribute to effective behaviour management strategies, cultivating a positive and respectful atmosphere for learning.
• Offer tailored assistance to pupils with diverse learning needs, implementing individualised support plans as required.
• Observe and document pupil progress, sharing valuable insights with the teaching team to inform future planning.
• Supervise pupils during non-lesson times, ensuring their safety and encouraging positive social interactions.

About You
• Possess a genuine commitment to supporting the holistic development and well-being of primary-aged children.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with staff, pupils, and parents.
• Exhibit patience, empathy, and resilience in adapting to the unique requirements and behaviours of young learners.
• Hold relevant experience or qualifications in supporting education within a primary school setting.
• Be a proactive and adaptable individual, capable of thriving in a busy and evolving educational environment.
• Uphold a robust understanding of safeguarding principles and a dedication to promoting children's welfare.
