About the Role
Join a forward-thinking school in a vibrant community, seeking a dedicated DT Teacher to start in September 2026. This permanent, long-term opportunity allows you to inspire secondary students through creative and practical Design and Technology lessons. Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver dynamic and practical Design and Technology lessons across the secondary curriculum.
* Foster a stimulating and supportive learning environment that encourages creativity and problem-solving skills.
* Assess student progress effectively, providing constructive feedback to aid their individual development.
* Manage classroom behaviour consistently to ensure a productive and safe learning space for all.
* Develop engaging teaching resources that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities within DT.
* Contribute positively to broader departmental and school initiatives, including supporting extracurricular activities where appropriate.

About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a relevant degree in Design and Technology or a related field.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for your subject, inspiring students with its practical applications and creative potential.
* Possess excellent classroom management skills, ensuring an orderly and focused learning environment at all times.
* Be adept at differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners, promoting inclusivity and academic achievement.
* Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, collaborating effectively with colleagues, students, and parents.
* Be either an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking for your first substantive role or an experienced teacher seeking a new professional challenge.
