About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a flourishing school community, commencing in September 2026. This permanent, long-term position offers an exciting opportunity to cultivate a love for language and literature amongst secondary students in the vibrant South East. You will be instrumental in shaping young minds and fostering academic excellence within a supportive and engaging educational environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and effective English lessons across the secondary key stages.
* Plan and prepare comprehensive schemes of work that meet curriculum requirements.
* Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support learning.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued.
* Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities or departmental initiatives.
* Participate actively in departmental meetings and professional development opportunities.

About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in English or a related subject.
* Possess a genuine passion for English language and literature, eager to share it with pupils.
* Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and the ability to motivate diverse learners.
* Be a collaborative team player, keen to contribute positively to a thriving department.
* Show a commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
* Be adept at differentiating instruction to meet the needs of all secondary students.
