You will integrate into a dynamic team, offering crucial support in a mainstream setting, with flexible contract options ranging from long-term and permanent to daily supply and short-term engagements, with a competitive salary of £95 - £110 per day.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide tailored 1:1 support for pupils with diverse Special Educational Needs, both in and out of the classroom.
• Assist with the preparation and adaptation of learning resources to meet individual pupil requirements.
• Collaborate closely with class teachers and the SENDCo to implement effective support strategies.
• Monitor and record pupil progress, contributing to regular assessment and review processes.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging pupil engagement and independence.
• Support pupils' social and emotional development, facilitating their participation in school life.
About You
• Possess a genuine passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs in a primary context.
• Demonstrate experience working with primary-aged pupils, particularly those requiring additional support.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with pupils, staff, and parents.
• Show a proactive and adaptable approach, responding effectively to the varying needs of pupils.
• Hold relevant qualifications or professional development in supporting SEN pupils.
