Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver creative, age-appropriate lessons aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
• Create a stimulating and safe learning environment that encourages exploration and independent learning.
• Observe, assess, and record children’s progress, using formative and summative assessments to inform future planning.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support each child's holistic development.
• Manage classroom behaviour positively, promoting respect and good manners among pupils.
• Contribute to the wider school community and its positive ethos.
About You
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Demonstrate a genuine passion for early years education and a commitment to child-centred learning.
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and staff.
• Be a proactive and adaptable individual, capable of fostering a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Have experience working with Reception-aged children, or demonstrate a clear aptitude for this phase.
• Show a commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
