Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and accessible lessons across an adapted secondary curriculum.
* Manage classroom dynamics effectively, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Adapt teaching strategies creatively to meet the individual learning styles of pupils with SEN.
* Collaborate constructively with support staff to facilitate pupil progress and well-being.
* Maintain accurate records of pupil attendance, progress, and engagement throughout assignments.
* Uphold all school policies and procedures diligently during every placement.
About You
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is an essential requirement for this role.
* You possess proven experience working with secondary-aged pupils in SEN environments.
* A genuine passion for supporting pupils with a wide range of special educational needs defines your approach.
* Excellent classroom management skills and exceptional adaptability are among your strengths.
* You demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal abilities, fostering positive relationships.
* An enhanced DBS check, or a willingness to obtain one promptly, is required.
