Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and adapted lessons to secondary students within a specialist SEMH provision.
* Implement effective strategies to re-engage disaffected learners and foster a positive learning environment.
* Proactively manage complex behavioural needs with empathy and consistency.
* Develop and deliver a modified curriculum tailored to individual student requirements.
* Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure holistic student development.
* Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods to promote achievement.
About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching at secondary level.
* Possess a genuine passion for supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.
* Demonstrate proven ability in behaviour management techniques within a challenging setting.
* Exhibit adaptability and resilience when faced with complex student circumstances.
* Commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning atmosphere.
* Possess excellent communication skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and parents.
