About the Role
An exceptional school in the vibrant South East of England is seeking a dedicated Chemistry Teacher to join their thriving Science department on a permanent, long-term contract starting 1st September 2026. This pivotal role involves inspiring secondary pupils through dynamic Chemistry lessons, fostering a deep understanding and passion for the subject. We are delighted to offer a salary paid to scale, recognising the value of experience at all levels, from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to those on the Upper Pay Scale (UPS).

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver outstanding Chemistry lessons across the secondary curriculum.
* Plan and prepare engaging schemes of work and resources that stimulate pupil curiosity.
* Accurately assess, record, and report on pupil progress and attainment.
* Actively contribute to the continuous development and success of the Science department.
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and challenging learning environment for all pupils.
* Uphold the highest standards of pupil welfare and safeguarding within the school community.

About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree specialism in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
* Demonstrate exceptional subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Chemistry.
* Exhibit an inspiring and engaging teaching style that motivates pupils of all abilities.
* Show a strong commitment to fostering academic excellence and personal growth in every pupil.
* Possess excellent classroom management skills, ensuring a productive and respectful learning atmosphere.
* Be a collaborative team player, eager to contribute positively to departmental initiatives and the wider school ethos.
