Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging Chemistry lessons across the secondary curriculum.
* Develop innovative schemes of work that challenge and inspire students of all abilities.
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress effectively, providing constructive feedback.
* Contribute positively to the Science department's collaborative ethos and curriculum development.
* Support the holistic development and well-being of all pupils in your care.
* Maintain a stimulating and well-managed classroom environment conducive to learning.
About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
* Demonstrate a proven ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities to achieve their full potential.
* Possess excellent subject knowledge in Chemistry and strong pedagogical skills.
* Show a commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
* Exhibit outstanding classroom management skills and a positive approach to behaviour.
* Applications from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers are warmly welcomed.
