A forward-thinking primary school in the South East is seeking a dedicated Intervention Teacher to join their supportive team. This vital role involves planning and delivering targeted support across Early Years, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 to ensure every child makes exceptional progress. We are looking for an enthusiastic educator to start as soon as possible, with flexible contract options available, including long-term, short-term, daily supply, or even a permanent position for the right candidate. This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant difference to pupils' learning journeys within a vibrant school community, offering a competitive daily rate of £150 - £180.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement effective intervention programmes for individuals and small groups.
* Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to specific learning gaps.
* Regularly assess pupil understanding and progress, adjusting strategies as necessary.
* Collaborate closely with class teachers, parents, and the wider school leadership team.
* Provide constructive feedback to pupils to foster their confidence and academic growth.
* Contribute positively to the overall ethos and extracurricular life of the school.
About You
* You hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
* You possess demonstrable experience teaching across various primary year groups (EYFS, KS1, KS2).
* You have a proven track record of successfully raising attainment through targeted interventions.
* You are passionate about nurturing every child's potential and overcoming learning barriers.
* You exhibit excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* You are adaptable, proactive, and committed to continuous professional development.
