A progressive school is seeking a dedicated Nursery Assistant to join their vibrant early years team immediately. This pivotal role involves fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, offering a competitive daily rate of £95 - £110 for the right candidate. We are open to various contract arrangements, including long-term, short-term, daily supply, and permanent positions, providing excellent flexibility to suit your career aspirations.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the holistic development of children through engaging play-based learning activities.
* Assist in creating a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment for all pupils.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and implement stimulating daily routines.
* Observe and record children's progress, contributing to their individual learning journeys.
* Maintain open and effective communication with parents and carers regarding their child's day.
* Ensure the highest standards of care and hygiene are met throughout the nursery setting.
About You
* You possess a genuine passion for early years education and child development.
* You hold relevant experience working with young children in a nursery or school setting.
* You demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* You are patient, empathetic, and possess a calm demeanour.
* You are a proactive team player who can also work effectively using your own initiative.
* You have a strong understanding of safeguarding practices and child protection policies.
