This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Chemistry Teacher to join a ambitious school in the South East, starting in September or sooner. We are seeking a passionate educator for a permanent, long-term contract within a thriving Science department. You will be instrumental in delivering inspiring Chemistry lessons across the secondary phase, fostering a deep appreciation for the subject among all students. This role offers the chance to contribute significantly to student achievement and departmental success.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and effective Chemistry lessons across key stages.
* Plan, prepare, and assess curriculum content that challenges and motivates pupils.
* Monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
* Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Science curriculum.
* Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment for all students.
* Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT) ready to complete your induction.
* Hold a strong academic background and specialism in Chemistry.
* Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
* Show a genuine passion
