About the Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Science Teacher to join a progressive secondary school in East London, beginning in September 2026. This long-term, permanent position welcomes applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs), as well as experienced educators at Main Professional Scale (MPS) and Upper Professional Scale (UPS) levels. We are seeking an inspirational practitioner with a strong passion for science, capable of delivering engaging and challenging lessons across all key stages and scientific disciplines.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, inspiring Science lessons to secondary pupils.
* Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
* Foster a stimulating and supportive learning environment that encourages curiosity and scientific inquiry.
* Contribute actively to the development and implementation of an innovative Science curriculum.
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance departmental provision.
* Engage in continuous professional development to refine teaching methods and subject knowledge.

About You
* You hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
* You demonstrate an unwavering commitment to making Science accessible and exciting for all learners.
* You possess excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire a love for learning.
* You are adaptable, resilient, and eager to contribute positively to a vibrant school community.
* You are a reflective practitioner, keen to develop your teaching expertise further.
* You have a strong understanding of current educational best practices within secondary science.
