About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic MFL - French & Spanish Teacher to join a highly regarded school on a permanent, long-term basis, commencing on 1st September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for an inspiring educator to foster a love for languages across key stages. The successful candidate will be paid to scale, recognising their experience and contribution. You will become an integral part of a thriving and supportive languages department.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging French and Spanish lessons to secondary students, ensuring high quality teaching and learning.
* Plan and prepare creative schemes of work that cater to diverse learning needs and abilities.
* Assess pupil progress rigorously, providing constructive feedback to support individual development.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students can thrive.
* Contribute actively to the department's extracurricular language activities and events.
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues to share best practice, resources, and innovative teaching strategies.

About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK, with the ability to teach French and Spanish to a high standard.
* Possess a strong academic background in both French and Spanish.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for teaching modern foreign languages and inspiring young learners.
* Be committed to continuous professional development and contributing to whole-school improvement.
* Exhibit excellent classroom management skills and consistently maintain high expectations for all pupils.
* Capable of motivating and challenging students across different key stages and ability ranges.
