About the Role
A progressive school in the West Midlands is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Chemistry Teacher to join its vibrant Science department from September 2026 on a permanent basis. This exciting long-term opportunity involves delivering high-quality Chemistry education across the secondary phase, nurturing students' scientific curiosity and achieving excellent academic outcomes. You will be instrumental in fostering a love for science within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver dynamic Chemistry lessons to secondary students across all key stages.
* Assess student progress regularly, providing timely and constructive feedback.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment within the Science department.
* Contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of the Chemistry curriculum.
* Support students' academic and personal growth through effective pastoral care.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a productive and engaging learning atmosphere.

About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Chemistry or a closely related scientific discipline.
* Demonstrate a proven ability to teach engaging Chemistry lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
* Exhibit a genuine passion for science education and fostering student curiosity.
* Be committed to securing excellent academic progress for all learners.
* Possess strong organisational skills and effective classroom management strategies.
* Show enthusiasm for contributing to extracurricular activities within the Science department.
