This vital role involves assisting pupils with emotional regulation, behaviour management strategies, and ultimately, their successful reintegration into core learning activities. We offer flexible contract options, from daily supply and short-term placements to long-term and permanent opportunities, with a competitive daily rate ranging from £95 to £120, starting as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to secondary pupils with SEMH needs within a specialist setting.
* Implement effective behaviour management strategies to promote a positive learning atmosphere.
* Assist pupils in developing robust emotional regulation and coping mechanisms.
* Facilitate the successful reintegration of students into group learning environments.
* Collaborate closely with teaching staff to differentiate learning materials and activities.
* Contribute to the creation of a nurturing and inclusive educational experience for all.
About You
* You possess a genuine passion for supporting the educational journey of young people with SEMH needs.
* Previous experience working with secondary-aged pupils in an SEN context is highly desirable.
* You demonstrate excellent communication skills, enabling effective interaction with pupils, staff, and parents.
* Resilience, patience, and a proactive approach are among your core strengths.
