A dynamic school is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist primary environment. This challenging and incredibly rewarding role involves providing tailored support to pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and complex learning needs. You will work closely with children on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, empowering them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and speech and language difficulties. This position offers a unique opportunity to significantly impact young learners' educational journeys.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver personalised learning support plans for pupils with EHCPs.
* Implement effective strategies to engage children with ASD, ADHD, and communication difficulties.
* Assist with the development and adaptation of diverse learning resources.
* Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment for all pupils.
* Collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, and other educational professionals.
* Promote the independence and positive behaviour of individuals and small groups.
About You
* Possess a genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs.

* Exhibit patience, resilience, and a proactive approach to daily tasks.
* Have previous experience working with primary-aged children with complex SEN.
* Understand the critical importance of safeguarding and child protection protocols.
* Be adaptable and responsive to individual pupil requirements and evolving classroom dynamics.
